Gowri Ventures Achieves AS 9100 Quality standard certification
Gowri Precision Investment Castings, a unit of Indo-MIM, has been recommended for registration to AS9100 Rev C requirements by UL DQS Inc on 26th May 2011.
AS9100 Rev C certification is widely used throughout the aerospace supply chain including design and manufacture of critical parts, by various manufacturing methods and processes. This certification aims to enhance customer satisfaction through continual effective quality and process management. It helps in giving an assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
By getting this certification, Gowri is committed to have the best in the industry practices, improving process consistency and stability in addition to providing value for money to customers in Aviation, Space and Other industries.
Gowri is a leading manufacturer of precision investment castings in ready-to-assemble condition for various market segments including the aerospace and medical industries. The state of art manufacturing plant of Gowri, spread across 30,000 square feet, is located at Tirupati. It is currently serving customers located in USA, Germany, Belgium and Turkey in addition to domestic customers. Within a year of its establishment, Gowri has manufactured over 100 varieties of steel, & stainless steel parts manufactured to customer drawings. There have been visits from global customers to this plant & every visitor has expressed delight on witnessing the capabilities of Gowri. People are the strength of Gowri.
Mr.VijayaKumar, Vice President of the unit at Gowri believes that the strength of Gowri is its employees. Gowri has also secured the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification and plans to go for TS 16949 very soon.
