MIM

    Metal Injection Molding (MIM)

Metal injection molding (MIM) is a manufacturing process that utilizes metal powders mixed with polymer binders to create complex shapes on production scale through injection molding. The molded components are subjected to de-binding to remove the binders partially and sintered at high temperatures to get rid of remaining binders and get to 97% minimum density. The process requires metal powders with predominantly spherical shape and tight control on the particle size distribution. A large varieties of low alloy steels, stainless steels tool steels, nickel super alloys can be processed through the MIM process. We cater to most of the powder requirements for this application.

Additive Manufacturing

              Additive Manufacturing

Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, has been reshaping the metal-forming process for the last decade. While there are several variations of this process, all of them require metal powders with highly spherical particle shape for better flowability and tight control on PSD and chemistry. We offer most varieties of powders for laser bed fusion, binder-jet and metal stereo-lithographic 3D printing applications.

HIP

     Hot & CIP Isostatic Pressing

Hot & Cold Isostatic Pressing (HIP & CIP) are manufacturing processes that rely on the use of metal powders to create dense and high-strength metal components. We produce several grades of powders required for these applications.

thermal Spray

                Thermal Spray

Metal powders are largely used on thermal spray applications. Thermal spray process involves depositing a protective or functional layer of metal onto various surfaces. The deposited layer helps in corrosion resistance OR increase surface wear performance. Metal powders used for thermal spray application fall under a different spectrum of PSD. We will shortly introduce several grades for this application.
