Job Description:

“Indo-MIM, Inc. seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer in San Antonio, Texas to plan and manage production activities based on customer job orders in Molding, Debinding, Sintering and Heat Treatment. Lead Implementation of Various Improvement Projects Like Robot-Automations & SMED Projects in Molding Process, Material Movement using AGVS, Auto Weighing and Dispensing Systems in Compounding Process, and Auto Storage & Transfer of Molds. Lead and Manage Non-Conformances and Corrective or Preventive Actions Including Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, and Continuous Improvement. Set and Develop the Process Parameter for the New Components in Injection Molding Process and Optimize it According to the Production Process. Develop Process Parameters for Debinding, Sintering and Heat Treatment Process. Perform Stability Testing and Temperature Uniformity Surveying for Debinding, Sintering and Heat Treatment Furnaces. Develop Pick and Place Automation for the Components Using Witt Mann Robot. Selection and Design of EOAT for the Components to Pick & Place for the Robots.

Qualification:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or Foreign Equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Related Field and completion of a University-Level Course, Research Project, Internship, Thesis, or Dissertation or six months of employment experience in each of the following:

  • Metal Injection Molding Process, Debinding, or Heat Treatment Process;
  • Problem Solving Techniques (PDCA, DMAIC, OR 8-D);
  • Statistical analysis tools and software such as MINITAB or similar; and
  • ERP and MRP systems.

Must be Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certified at the time of application.
