JOB Description of ELECTRICAL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEER:
“INDO-MIM, Inc. seeks Electrical and Automations Engineer in San Antonio, TX to plan and schedule preventive maintenance on automated systems using routine diagnostic checks isolating problems and performing repairs; to inspect robotic cells; to troubleshoot metal injection molding machinery including compounding machines, de-binding machines, molding machines, sintering furnaces, and Internal Secondary Processes (ISP) custom-built machineries; to design special purpose machinery (SPM) focused primarily on the automated aspects of (MIM) Metal Injection Molding manufacturing processes to optimize the production; to design, code, edit, and configure advanced PLC and HMI programming for Siemens, Omron, and Delta machines; Install, test, commission and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment; to write work instructions and procedures; to train operators on new SPM machinery, software handling techniques software, troubleshooting techniques in the various manufacturing departments; and to ensure compliance with OHSAA and other safety and health regulations; manage stock and obtain specialized components, fixtures, and fittings.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field of study and must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following: Metal Injection Molding Machines; Sintering furnaces; Debinding machines; Planetary Mixers; Rotary Reaming Machines; and Pneumatic Rotary Presses. Will travel appx 10% outside of Bexar County, TX and internationally including but not limited to India. 40 hours/wk. Must e-mail Resume to Human Resources at janet.m@indo-mim.com.
