FORMNEXT is the largest annual exposition of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies in the World.  And provides a show case for exhibiting the latest AM products and services, especially the highest quality metal powders and printed components, as demonstrated by INDO-MIM at our booth.

The range of INDO-SPHERE metal powders, designed for AM printing technologies, including Laser Powder Bed Fusion & Binder Jet printing, continues to expand from the base of ferrous alloys (stainless, steel & tool steels), cobalt and nickel alloys including the latest developments, such as CM247LC, used extensively in aeroengines and gas turbines.  The feature components highlighted by INDO-MIM at FORMNEXT include binder jet printed mould inserts featuring complex internal conformal channels, with low surface roughness (2-3 microns Ra) and high wear resistance, suitable for abrasive feedstocks including Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and glass fibre reinforced polymers.  The M2 tools steel is produced at our own powder production facility and is used to manufacture mould tooling for our own MIM requirements, as well as offered a printing service for select customers, requiring tolling of the highest quality in a finished or semi-finished condition; tool blanks incorporating conform cooling channels ready for traditional machining and Electro-Discharge Machining (EDM).  The FORMNEXT show was supported by technical sales & business development professions from Germany, UK, USA and India, highlighting the support available to our customers throughout the World.
